Caitlyn’s love of music started with a forgotten guitar her father abandoned in the attic.
She began to take voice and guitar lessons at the age of ten, developing into a passion for songwriting. After playing with various groups as a bassist and vocalist in the Fort Worth Area, she relocated to Boston where she recently graduated with a Music Business degree from Berklee College of Music.
Blending the sounds of classic soul artists such as Aretha Franklin with modern rock, Caitlyn Holley is a fresh new take on a classic sound. Playing several shows and open mics in the Boston area, she found a group of musicians to play with regularly. Caitlyn went on to release an EP titled Into the Blue, July of 2018.
Caitlyn is excited to be a part of Above the Basement, and can’t wait to share and work with fellow songwriters.
