ATB ConcertCasts, Partnerships, Associates and more...

Hello ATB friends,

Happy Spring to you and yours, and thank you for joining us on this music and conversation journey!  We are excited to share a few updates with you.

Above The Basement ConcertCast

We recently kicked off our first ConcertCast at Rapscallions Table & Tap in Acton, MA. It exceeded our expectations and we are so thankful to Peter at Raps who rolled the dice and let us bring live music and conversation to the stage!

We were approached that same week by City Winery Boston to work together to offer live podcast programming, and we are thrilled to announce our new partnership.

On June 24th we will sit at The Haymarket Lounge - City Winery's new 75 seat venue - with a very special guest who will play a few songs, talk with us for a ½ hour conversation and then take questions from the audience followed by a full performance!

Click here for tickets.  Space is limited so act fast!

Interns and Associates

We are pleased to welcome two interns and one associate to Above The Basement!

Maria Landi, entering her junior year at Berklee College of Music as a songwriter/vocalist, joins us as our Music Connections and Social Media Coordinator.

Jackson Parker, a musician and guitarist who just finished up his senior year of high school, will assist ATB with research, artist relations and social media.

We are also excited to welcome music enthusiast Scott Cullinane of Oracle who joins ATB to assist with other grassroots and marketing efforts.

On Your Feet! The Musical

You may have seen that we published episodes with musicians in the Broadway In Boston (BIB) productions of Waitress and On Your Feet! The Musical, and we look forward to continuing this collaborative relationship with BIB for upcoming musicals.

This week the On Your Feet! team in New York released the first of a 5 week series we are calling Take 5 Tuesdays, which offers five minute excerpts of the original episode with two musicians from the Miami Sound Machine (Clay Ostwald, Jorge Casas). It also features one of our esteemed guest hosts, Mr. Ike Walker (who, like Chuck, was an actor…).

So make sure to check it out via your usual podcast interface, and/or find it at On Your Feet Facebook/Instagram/Twitter platforms over the coming weeks.

The response to our Patreon initiative has been fantastic, and we would like to thank all who have joined us!

But we still need your support!  Join ATB and get perks, exclusive content and other cool experiences.  Click here for more information.

Lastly...

It has been two years since we started on this ride and we honestly could not have done this without all of you.

We are moving to the next stage: looking towards sponsorships while growing our listener base and developing our live ConcertCasts.

Your ongoing interest and support is what helps feed this growth. Please continue to share our posts and invite your friends (social media and the like) to come on board.

Thanks again for all your support - and keep on listening!

More to come...

Chuck and Ronnie
